MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Battling many weather delays, the Vikings currently sit in first place for the women and third place for the men after a complete day of competition.
Men's Highlights:
- In the 400 Hurdles,
Marcus Wilson finished ninth with a time of 58.88
- T Harris and
Peter Ivester went went third and fifth in the 1500m at 4:00.05 and 4:00.82 in the tight race
- Junior
Troy Blackwood and sophomore
Brooks Johnson took third and eighth to capture points in the 5000m with times of 15:19.08 and 15:38.49
Women's Highlights:
- In the Hammer
Malysha Winston,
Avery Jones, and
Sadie Phillips went 3-6-7

Courtney Jones took fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.41m and junior
Marissa Green was ninth at 9.65m

Macy Murdock continues to shine in the 400 hurdles with a second-place finish and time of 1:03.30 and teammate

Anna Rose took out all competition in the 1500m with her first place time of 4:36.74 with
Anna Ayers in fourth and
Olivia Lambert in seventh to capture more points for the team

Emma Lambert finished in the top ten
- In the Heptathlon,
Cortney Brown finished third overall with a mark of 3413
