Men Sit Third After Day One of SAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College men's track and field team wrapped up day one at the SAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in third place with 36 points.

Freshman Kennan Smith finished 5th in the 10,000 meters  with a time of 32:34.40.

Sophomore Clay Robinson finished third in the Javelin with a mark of 53.64 meters while teammate Kevin Krum finished 6th with a mark of 48.58 meters.

Freshman Andrew Popp defended his SAA Indoor Pole Vault tile by winning the Outdoor event with a mark of 4.47 meters.

Freshman Quincy Anderson finished 5th in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 10:02.17.

Senior Dawson Livingston finished 2nd in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 53.48 meters while Bryce Toomer finished 8th with a mark of 42.61 meters.

Clay Robinson - Honorable Mention

The Vikings will wrap up competition on Saturday, April 25 beginning at 9:00 am.
