BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Vikings finally had their full squad at today's final indoor meet before the SAA Championship, setting many new personal bests and competing for top finishes.
Men's Highlights:
-In the mile,
Ethan Smith, T Harris, and
Troy Blackwood all rolled out PR's placing 4-5-6 at 4:14, 4:19, and 4:21 respectively

Dawson Livingston and
Mason Robinson placed third and seventh in the weight throw. Livingston threw a 17.06m season best and Robinson had a lifetime PR of 16.06m
-Senior
Jahari Jones ran a new indoor PR of 21.68 in the 200m breaking his own school record to finish fourth while teammates
Liam Jeffries and
Dylan Davis also had PR's
-In the 3000m, Nico Klementzos and
Ciaran Greer ran PR's (9:31 and 9:33)

Alden McDonald won the pole vault at 4.86m
-In the shot put, Robinson finished second (14.78m)
-Placing sixth in the men's 4x400m was Jones, Wilson, Forsyth, and Smith

Jaden Melville had a PR in the 60m Dash at 7.13
Women's Highlights:
-
Olivia Lambert opened up her indoor season with a third place finish in the mile (5:24.34, a new PR)
-
Sydney Howard placed fourth in the 5000m in her first indoor meet (19:52.72, a lifetime PR)
-A fourth place finish came for
Macy Murdock in the long jump (5.21m)
-
Lucy Nicholson, a freshmen finished second in her heat of the 200m with a new PR and Indoor School Record at 26.58
-High Jumper,
Kris Williams won the event with a jump of 1.60m
-There were many PR's set in the 3000m by:
Ariel Ellis,
Emma Lambert,
Isabella Tedesco, and Sinclaire Denney but
Anna Rose finished a team high of third with a time of 10:37.56
-In the pole vault
Madeline Hubbert took second at 3.26m and
Addie Blake took 6th at 2.66m

Onoyeme Egure took fourth place in the shot put 12.19m

Avery Jones had a great showing with a fourth place finish in the weight throw at 15.28m and teammates Egure,
Hadley Williams, and
Sofia Henderson went 6-7-8
-Shirley, Nicholson, Murdock, and Moell took fifth in the 4x400m with a time of 4:10.43
The Vikings get next weekend off to prepare for the SAA Championships on February 28 - March 1 in Danville, Kentucky.
