ORLANDO, Fla. – The men's tennis team earned their fifth straight win as they defeated Dickinson College 8-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- All three doubles teams earned a victory against the Red Devils on Wednesday afternoon.
- Matt Blakely defeated Shawn Diniz 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 in the No. 1-Singles spot for Berry.
- Griffin Davis added a 6-3, 6-3 win over Derek Chen as well in the No.2–Singles spot.
- Ryan Miner (6-3, 6-3) earned the victory over Nick Reese in the No. 3-Singles spot for Berry.
- Chase Gooding (6-1, 6-0) and Daniel Alligood (6-1, 6-1) rounded out scoring for the Vikings with wins in the No. 4 and No. 6- Singles spots as well.
NOTABLES:
- With the win, Berry improves to 6-2 overall on the season.
- Dickinson falls to 1-4 on the year.
UP NEXT:
Berry will host Oglethorpe University on Sunday, March 19 at 9:00am in their next match to open up conference play.
