MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry Beach Volleyball team has secured the number one position heading into the AVCA Small College Championships in Gulf Shores this weekend. 

The tournament will be played in Gulf Shores, Alabama at the Gulf Shores Public Beach from April 18-19.
With a record of 25-4, Berry has been a force all year long in just their fourth season of play. So far, this has been the teams best season yet with wins over Division I opponents and many sweeps this Spring.

First up, the Vikings have Southern Virginia on April 18 at 9:05 AM CT/10:05 AM ET on courts 6-10. The team has played Southern Viriginia already this season back at the end of March when Berry hosted their Annual DIII Only tournament, the Vikings were victorious in a 5-0 victory.

Later in the day at 3:35 PM CT/4:35 PM ET, Berry will head back to courts 6-10 to take on the Warriors of Hendrix College who they became familiar with at the ETBU tournament winning 4-1.

All five pairs for the Vikings have been solid and they look to stay high in spirits and energy as they head to Alabama to compete for a Championship!
