Beach Volleyball Set to Hit the Sand in 2026

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Viking Beach Volleyball is set to conquer their 2026 season with a plethora of Top Flight competitors returning to the sand after their National Runner-Up finish in 2025. 

A total of three Top Flight duos make their returns this February, including Becky Blaydes and Kaylee Howell, Kara Schmit and Madie Whitehead, and Grace Mau and Kat Kelyman. The Vikings will also enjoy the return of Keira Kruk, Andrea HurtAilee England, and Lura Underwood.  

Beach's regular season gets rolling with their home opener in a doubleheader against Carson-Newman on February 18. The Vikings then head to Huntingdon to take on Southern Virginia and NAIA Truett McConnell on February 20. They close out the weekend with NAIA Loyola University New Orleans on February 21.  

Berry then makes the trip back to Briggs Beach to battle Division 1 Tennessee Tech on March 6 and 7, before battling with in-state foe LaGrange on March 7 as well. The Vikings then spend their spring break in Lakeland, Florida, taking on Emmanuel and Florida Southern on March 11. They end their weekends in St. Petersburg, Florida, to take on Catawba, Erskine, and Eckerd on March 13 and 14.  

Beach volleyball then heads home to host their fourth annual DIII Only Tournament for two days of competition. They begin their weekend with matchups against Huntingdon and Stevenson on March 20. They close out the weekend with ETBU and Lynchburg on March 21. The Vikings then close out their regular seasons in Tennessee at Carson-Newman against the Carson-Newman and Erskine on March 27. The regular season closes for the Vikings at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, as they face all Division 1 opponents in Georgia State, UT Martin, University of North Alabama, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from April 10-11.  

The AVCA Small College Beach Volleyball Championships will be held from April 17-19 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
