Track 2014: Competed in three races and set three personal records...started off the season running a 2:10 800m at the 'Southern Invitational (3/15) in Birmingham, Alabama...ran a personal record in the 400m at the University of the Cumberlands Invitational (4/12), clocking in at 53...also ran a 1500m personal best at the University of the Cumberlands with a time of 4:32...ran a seven-second personal record in the 800m at the SAA Track and Field Championships (4/25), clocking in at 2:01 and placing ninth.

Cross Country 2013: Competed in only two races due to injury...started off the season running a 33:35 8K at the Sewanee Cross Country Invitational (9/7)...ran a 2:30 personal record at the Berry Invitational (10/19), posting a time of 31:05.

High School: Lettered in cross country and track at Tifarea Academy in Chula, Ga....four-time all-region selection in cross country...school record-holder in the 5K...member of 2009 GISA state champion team...won the regional championship as a junior...all-region selection in soccer as a junior... member of Beta Club...honors graduate...involved with FCA and student council.

Personal: Matthew David Myers was born in St. Louis, Mo....the son of Suzanne and Mark Myers...has one brother, Luke...majoring in early childhood education at Berry College.
