Mount Berry, GA- The Berry College Vikings hosted the Sewanee Tigers for a rubber match in game three of the opening weekend of SAA play. After the Tigers took a third inning lead, they never looked back as the Vikings fell 7-4 on Sunday at home.
Freshman,
Eric Fountain got the start going four innings with two earned runs, one walk, and two strikeouts.
Sewanee's offense got going in the first after scoring one to give them an early 1-0 lead.

Riley Uhls hit a sacrifice fly to tie things up at 1-1 after one.
The Tigers offense put some at bats up in the top of the third to regain the lead at 4-1.
In the bottom of the fourth
Chance Edmonds doubled bringing home
Ethan Finch to cut the deficit to 4-2.
In the top of the sixth, the Tigers offense put up another three spot to give them more insurance runs, making it 7-2.
Cooper Chunn shut down the Tigers momentum, closing the sixth and ended up throwing two and a third scoreless innings allowing no hits.

Tanaka Mukono and a ninth inning score from Mukono the Vikings fell to the Tigers 7-4.
The Vikings continue action on the road as they travel to Maryville on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for a midweek nonconference matchup.
