GULF SHORES, Ala. - In day one of the Spring Hill College Classic, the Vikings split defeating Erskine 4-1 and falling to Loyola 2-3.

Match One: Berry 4 - Erskine 1
In match one the team had a lot of great opportunities playing the normal squad of 1-6. Kara Schmit and Ailee England closed out the dual at 3's and secured the win!

1. Kaylee Howell and Becky Blaydes defeated Erskine 18-21, 21-18, 15-12
2. Keira Kruk and Sabine Rudolph fell to Erskine 21-13, 22-24, 15-13
3. Kara Schmit and Ailee England defeated Erskine 21-19, 17-21, 15-11
4. Kat Kelyman and Grace Mau defeated Erskine 22-20, 21-17
5. Lilly Teagle and Andrea Hurt defeated Erskine 21-17, 21-11
6. Lura Underwood and Madie Whitehead defeated Erskine 21-11, 21-9

Match Two: Berry 2 - Loyola 3
Berry put up a battle in match two with a dominating performance from Kara Schmit and Madie Whitehead playing the three pair. Big fights were put up by both the one and five pairs taking Loyola to a third set.
