MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry Beach Volleyball team has secured the number two position heading into the AVCA Small College Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama, this weekend.

Gulf Shores Public Beach
101 Gulf Shores Parkway
Gulf Shores, AL 36542
The Vikings are no strangers to the Gulf Shores courts, as they competed there just last season, finishing as runners-up to Mary Hardin-Baylor. This season, the Vikings look to finish the job, with UMHB as the lone team ahead of them going into the tournament.
Berry will begin their quest against LaGrange at 10:10 AM CT/11:10 ET. Then, a pairs challenge against the Panthers will follow at 11:15 CT/12:15 ET. The Vikings and Panthers competed twice this year, with the Vikings winning 9 consecutive matches between the two contests. Following a few moments of rest, Berry will take on either Ottawa (Kansas) or Huntingdon, depending on the results of the first matches. The Vikings will close out Day One of the tournament against familiar foe ETBU, who they beat 5-0 at home in the DIII Only Tournament.
The semifinals and finals will make up day two of action, with the semis set to begin at 11:15 AM CT/12:15 PM ET and championship set for 1:25 PM CT/2:25 ET.
