MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Berry Beach Volleyball team completed the weekend sweep with wins over Nicholls and LaGrange this afternoon at the Huntingdon Beach Bash.

Match One vs Nicholls (Berry 4 - Nicholls 1)
Berry took down their first Division I opponent of the 2025 season with good energy and unity. The team tried a lot of new things but urgency to play with each outher and support one another overcame all.

1. Kaylee Howell and Becky Blaydes defeated Nicholls 21-13, 21-9
2. Keira Kruk and Ailee England defeated Nicholls 21-14, 21-8
3. Kara Schmit and Madie Whitehead defeated Nicholls 21-5, 21-17
4. Kat Kelyman and Grace Mau fell to Nicholls 18-21, 20-22
5. Berry won on a forfeit

Match Two vs LaGrange (Berry 5 - LaGrange 0)
Berry completley shutout LaGrange this afternoon and adjusted well to the windy weather in Montgomery.

1. Kaylee Howell and Becky Blaydes defeated LaGrange 21-8, 21-12
2. Keira Kruk and Sabine Rudolph defeated LaGrange 21-16, 14-21, 15-11
3. Aillee England and Kara Schmit defeated LaGrange 21-11, 21-15
4. Grace Mau and Kat Kelyman defeated LaGrange 21-14, 21-8
5. Lilly Teagle and Lura Underwood defeated LaGrange 21-9, 21-11
6. Andrea Hurt and Hope Kimsey/Natalie Erickson split with LaGrange 21-15, 13-21

Next up, the Vikings head to Gulf Shores, Alabama to compete against teams in the Spring Hill College classic next Friday and Saturday.
