DANVILLE, Ky. - The Berry men's soccer team traveled to Danville, KY to take on the Centre College Colonels. Berry comes into the game ranked third in the conference with a 2-2 conference record. The Vikings were able to come away with the win by the score of 1-0, improving to 9-4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference.
The first half consisted of Berry dominating the offensive time of possession by controlling the ball on the Colonel's side of the field for most of the half. The score remained tied at 0-0, however the Vikings recorded ten shots compared to the Colonel's three.
Jack Raulston led the way for the Vikings, recording three shots in the first half, while recording two in the first 12 minutes of the game.
The second half did not follow the same script with the Colonels registering the first three shots of the half. The game remained at a stalemate until Raulston was able to break the tie in the 84th minute to put the Vikings ahead 1-0. The last-minute goal was the deciding factor of the game with the Viking defense clearing the ball out from the goal for the remainder of the game. Goalkeeper
