"This was an amazing meet all around for our team. Not only did they help put on and host a 20+ Collegiate Team, 3-day meet, they also at or near the top in every event. Life University and Southeastern University(FL) have won the last two NAIA National Championships on the Men's side.Â
Our Women had their best meet of the season by far. While many of the school records and top 3 performances stand out, what you might have missed was the incredible PR's from many of our athletes that placed just outside the top-3. You might have missed SR Hastings Gray coming back from a broken rib injury to pace and lead her teammate Katie Frankman to an amazing lifetime PR in the 5000m." Says head coach Luke Syverson on the teams performance.
"We had a number of performances like that which mean just as much if not more than wins and records. It was great to celebrate and honor our 19 seniors today and perform the way we did. Both teams had a great last regular season meet as we now shift our attention to the SAA Championships in two weeks."
