The No.13-ranked Berry Vikings (21-4, 14-0 SAA) completed Southern Athletic Association regular season conference play undefeated by defeating Birmingham-Southern in three sets (25-13, 25-21, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon in Birmingham, Ala.
           The Vikings started off hot with a 9-0 run, with three service aces from
Kat Kelyman being a big contribution. Both the Berry offense and defense were rolling as
Olivia Mallow put up three total blocks in the first set.
           The Panthers kept it closer with Berry in the second set finding themselves up by only two points towards the end of the set 21-19 forcing a Viking timeout. Back to back kills from Mallow took Berry to set point, Mallow and
Jazzy Innis finished it with a big block to clinch the second set victory.
           Birmingham Southern saw their first lead of the day during the third set 5-4, but the Vikings fought back to a 20-19 lead.
Bella Boston put down the final kill of the day, earning the Vikings the sweep.

Innis led the team with eight kills, Lindsay MacDiarmid set up 22 assists, Mallow totaled five blocks, and
Kate Whittle earned 17 digs in the back row.

The Vikings will be back in action next weekend at the Emory National Invitational in Atlanta. They will face Maryville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
