The No.12-ranked Berry Vikings (11-4, 5-0 SAA) defeated Birmingham Southern College in four sets (25-16, 15-25, 25-16, 25-22) in Southern Athletic Association play on Sunday afternoon in the Cage Center. Berry remains undefeated in the conference, earning their fifth straight SAA win.

The Viking took control of the game early on and profited off errors from the Panthers. Berry found themselves ahead 17-13 then scored on eight of the next nine rallies thanks to solid play on both sides of the ball by Berry, four kills and two blocks contributing to those eight points.
           BSC put themselves in the drivers seat for the entirety of the second set putting up 16 kills in the second set alone, which the Vikings couldn't keep up with.
           Berry switched gears into the third set, finding their offensive rhythm once again. The Vikings jumped out to a 9-1 lead and didn't look back.
           The fourth and final set was close until Berry found a four-point spurt at the end of the set, which included two solo blocks from
Lilly Teagle. Teagle put down the final kill for the Vikings to end the day.

Berry's blocking was a large contributing factor to the victory putting up 14 in total.

Jazzy Innis double-doubled totalling 12 kills and 12 digs. Teagle contributed five total blocks on the day, Lindsay MacDiarmid set up 35 assists, and
Kate Whittle led the team with 20 digs.

The Vikings will head to Memphis, Tenn. on Friday to take on Rhodes College at 7 p.m. EDT.
