Making a second trip to the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala., in as many weeks, Berry's men's and women's indoor track and field squads saw personal marks fall and new school records get set in a myriad of events.
"Overall, as a coaching staff, we were very pleased with the performances today," said head men's and women's track and field coach
Luke Syverson. "We had solid efforts in almost all event areas with either lifetime PR's or at least improvements over last week. Our distance group performed really well especially given this was their first indoor meet since the pandemic began. Most of them are further along than where we would normally expect them to be in mid-January."
In men's field events:
- Mason Robinson  placed sixth in the shot put at 13.84m, a new personal-best
- Jared Ogle topped Roberts by over a meter in the weight throw to finish seventh overall. His mark of 15.08m sets a new Berry indoor record.
- Alden McDonald was fourth in the pole vault (4.27m) with Andrew Rexrode placing sixth
In men's track events:
In women's events:
"I was really happy for Jared in the weight throw and Cameron in the Mile," said coach Syverson. "Those were great performances by our seniors today. I'm pleased with where we are at for the beginning of the season knowing we still have a lot of work to do to get to where we need to be later this spring."
The Vikings will take a partial squad to Sewanee next Saturday
