The Berry volleyball team hit the road again this weekend for two more Southern Athletic Association showdowns and came away victorious in their first test Friday night defeating Millsaps in a three-set sweep, 3-0.
The Vikings, who have won their last seven straight outings, now boast an overall record of 14-1 overall and are 8-1 in the SAA.
Against Millsaps, Berry took the first set 25-16, the second set 25-21 and finished the third set 25-17.
Molly Bergin paced the Vikings' offensive attack with eight kills while
Jazzy Innis and
Cypress Guenther had seven each, Guenther added four blocks,
Emily Rapach recorded 26 assists, and Laura Brier came up with 20 digs.
The Vikings head to Birminghams, Ala., to play conference rival Birmingham-Southern on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., taking on the team that handed Berry its lone defeat of the season last month.
