Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Berry College goalkeeper Nick Voso recorded 14 saves as the Vikings won at Transylvania University, 10-5, on Saturday.
BC, which won its second straight contest, improved to 4-3. The Pioneers fell to 1-1.
Transy's Zack Riggs tallied the game's first goal and the only score of the first half. The Vikings, however, rattled off the next six goals and pulled away. Berry led 5-1 at halftime.
Eight different Vikings had points in the contest. Jake Emche and Paolo Falzi both collected two goals and dished one assist for the victorious Vikings. Andrew Elgin tallied and assisted once for BC.
The Pioneers led in shots (42-27), ground balls (24-14) and faceoffs (13-3).
Cooper Fogle recorded 15 saves for Transylvania.
The Vikings play at John Carroll University (Ohio) on Tuesday.
