MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Caleb Johnston, Finn McClendon, Michael Beirne, Josip Brosovich, and Tad Zappa each made their marks on the SAA with all-conference recognition for men's lacrosse in 2026.
Caleb, a senior from Denver, North Carolina, served as the primary faceoff specialist once again and earned Second Team All-SAA for the second season in a row. He poured in a career-high 90 ground balls and also caused 4 turnovers throughout his 2026 campaign. Offensively, Johnston was a force as well with five goals on the season which tied his career-high from his junior season.
Finn McClendon's junior season saw him score 22 goals and dish out 8 assists. The offensive minded midfielder shot above 50 percent in shots on goal for the third straight season and is on his way to an illustrious career. McClendon had a career-high 3 assists in a win against Oglethorpe on March 25.
Michael Beirne blasted back onto the scene with a team-leading 25 goals and 13 assists for 38 total points. After missing 2025 due to injury, Beirne made a huge impact on the Viking offense, accounting for nearly 20 percent of the team's total offense.
Josip Brosovich dominated the field defensively with 18 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers as a defensive anchor.
Tad Zappa earned SAA All-Sportsmanship after another season as a productive member both on and off the team for men's lacrosse.
