BC Men's Lacrosse Falls at Washington College

CHESTERTOWN, Md. -- Jake Emche and Paolo Falzi both tallied two goals, but the Berry College men's lacrosse team lost at Washington College, 9-4, on Saturday.

Berry dropped to 4-5 and the Shoremen moved to 3-1.

Emche scored with 30 seconds left in the first half to trim the WC lead to 4-2. The Vikings got no closer.

Washington College had the edge in shots (38-27), ground balls (33-30), and face-offs (9-7).

Quentin Johnson recorded two assists for Berry. Hudson Harris and Thomas Brennan both had one helper for the Vikes. 

Nick Voso recorded 11 saves and played all 60 minutes in goal for Berry. Don McIlwain won five of his seven face-offs.

For WC, Tanner Barbieri notched three goals and dished two assists for the home club.

The Vikings host Centre College next Saturday.
