CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The Berry College women's tennis team improved to 13-1 after winning at West Georgia, 8-1, on Wednesday. The NCAA Division II Wolves dropped to 3-12.
Of the five singles matches BC won, the Vikes did not drop a set. All three doubles matches were close. At #3 Mary Cerny and Abbie Smith prevailed after winning 9-8 with a 7-4 tiebreaker.
The Vikings return to action this weekend with SAA home matches vs. Hendrix (Saturday) and Rhodes (Sunday).
