2012: Appeared in 13 games, including four starts...compiled a 4.63 earned run average...pitched 44 2/3 innings, with 20 walks and a team-leading 52 strikeouts...pitched two complete games...went the distance against Huntingdon (3/31) and Covenant (4/17).
2011: Appeared in a pair of games...had a 0.00 ERA...struck out one batter and allowed one hit in one shutout inning against Rhodes...tossed a pair of shutout frames against Oglethorpe, fanning three batters and allowing a pair of singles…did not walk any hitters in his two outings.
Prior to Berry: Sat out the 2010 season at Reinhardt College due to an injury…as a freshman, Austin appeared in 10 games for the Eagles, putting together a 5-3 record and a 2.93 ERA…he fanned 33 batters in 40 innings of work...that season, he allowed one earned run in six and one-third innings in a loss to a Berry team that reached the NAIA World Series.
High School: Lettered in baseball at Woodland High School...in 23 career high school appearances, won nine games...compiled a 1.93 ERA with 113 strikeouts fanned 113 batters in 93 innings...reached the quarterfinals of the 2007 state playoffs.
