2015: Named to the SAA Spring 2014 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll...Competed in six meets and achieved two personal records despite battling injury throughout the season...started off the season setting a personal best in the mile at the ETSU Buccaneer Invitational (2/7), posting a time of 5:13...ran a personal record in the 5000m at the Mississippi College Season Opener (3/7), clocking in at 17:47...competed in the 5000m and 1500m at the SAA Championships (4/24-25)...later improved his mile personal record by two seconds at the ATC All Comers meet (5/6), clocking in at 5:11.
2014: Competed in eight races and achieved four personal records...set a personal best in the mile twice...his best time was at the SAA Indoor Challenge (2/15), where he ran a five-second personal best time of 5:18...achieved a 16-second personal record in the 1500m at the 'Southern Invitational (3/15) in Birmingham, Alabama, clocking in at 4:54...ran a 14-second personal record in the 5000m at the Emory Invitational (3/21), posting a time of 18:18...finished third at the Berry 10K (3/29)...competed in the 5000m at the SAA Track and Field Championships at Hendrix.
2013: Ran in six meets and posted three personal records...ran the mile at the Sewanee Invitational (2/16) in 5:32.26...ran a PR in the mile at the Rhodes College Open Meet with a time of 5:26.76 (3/16)...ran a 54-second PR in the 5000m at the Emory Invitational (3/23), posting a time of 18:32...ran the 1500m at the SAA Track and Field Championships (4/27).

Personal: Michael Patterson Klein was born in St. Louis, Missouri...the son of Dr. Steve and Marie Klein...Michael is a triplet...has one brother, Matthew, who also attends Berry College...has one sister, Ruth...his sister, Ruth, was on the swim team at Asbury University (2010-14) and was an Academic All-American...father, Steve, rowed crew at Harvard University (1974-1975)...transferred from Anderson University in 2012...made Dean's List in the fall of 2011, spring 2012, fall 2013 and fall 2014...on-campus job: sports information assistant and VITA tax preparer...also a member of the Berry cross country team...majoring in accounting at Berry.
