MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - After claiming their fourth consecutive SAA Title, the Berry men's cross-country team looks to continue to solidify its dynasty in the 2025 season with head coach Paul Deaton's release of their 2025 schedule.
Deaton brings back three all-conference runners. Standout senior Ethan Smith, who closed out the 2024 SAA Championships with the fastest run of his career (25:30.00) and earned First Team All-SAA. Troy Blackwood and T Harris also look to build off of impressive top eleven finishes last season at the SAA Championships. Blackwood and Wright earned their way to compete in the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships last season and look to repeat that success in the 2025 campaign.
Berry's 2025 schedule begins with a trip to Georgetown, Texas on August 30 for the Stormy Seas Opener. Following this, the Vikings have their first home meet with the Equal Distance meet on September 6. Following this, the Vikings head to Spartanburg, South Carolina, for a meet at USC Upstate. Then, the Vikings return back to Berry for the Berry Meet on October 4. Finally, Berry heads to Salem, Virginia to compete in the Roanoke XC Invitational on October 18.
The SAA Tournament Championship takes place on November 1 in Georgetown, Texas with the NCAA South Region Championship to follow on November 15 in Salem, Virginia and the National Championships on November 23 in Spartanburg South Carolina.
