Men's Cross Country Welcomes Four

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head Coach Paul Deaton announced the addition of four to the 2025 roster.

Keenan Smith 
Keenan is from nearby Marietta, Georgia, and he has four siblings. Smith graduated from Marietta High School, where he proved himself as a winner, leading them to third place in the state in 2023 and placing twelfth individually at the state championships in his senior year. While at Berry, he plans to study biochemistry.  

Quincy Anderson 
Quincy's journey to become a Viking brings him just down the I-75 from his hometown of Alpharetta, Georgia. Anderson graduated from Denmark High School, where he helped his team to three regional championships and a state title in his senior campaign. Academically, he graduated from Denmark with honors. While at Berry, Anderson plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry. Quincy's two brothers, Tavian and Xavier, also compete for the Berry men's cross country squad. He plans to major in biochemistry. 

Xavier Anderson 
From Alpharetta, Georgia, Xavier's journey as a Viking continues after he first signed with the Vikings in 2022. Anderson's return to running for Berry brings him back from his hometown of Alpharetta, Georgia. His personal best in a Berry uniform was at the Berry College Invitational in 2022 when he finished with a time of 27.26. He also finished at the SAA Championships with a mark of 27.59. Xavier will be studying exercise science during the rest of his time as a Viking. He has four siblings, two of whom compete alongside him on Berry's cross country team. 

Tavian Anderson 
Tavian completes the trio of Anderson's that will be competing for the Vikings this season. Brother of Xavier and Quincy, he is also from Alpharetta, Georgia. Like Xavier, Tavian also previously competed for the Vikings in 2022, finishing with a mark of 27.03 at the SAA Championships and a mark of 27.12 at the Berry Invitational. Tavian will be pursuing a sports marketing degree.
