Box Score NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Viking Men's Tennis team has concluded their 2024-2025 campaign with a 4-3 loss to Centre this afternoon.
At Burns Park Tennis Centre, the Vikings headed in knowing this was going to be a tough match between the four and five seeded teams.
Things kicked off when Centre won the only pairing contest for the Colonels with a 6-3 tally over
Jake Chapman and
Aiden Benoualid in the no. 2 match. Â
Noah Koch and Léo Nedkov fought to a tiebreaker in the top doubles match defeating the Colonels 7-6, (7-5).
Jace Goode and
Bohdan Higley kept the momentum rolling with a 6-4 win over Issac Flanery and Emerson Dean.
Things switched in the singles portion of the contest. Centre took the first two matches but Berry took the top contest as Koch defeated the Colonel 7-5, 6-2 and in the six match Goode defeated Gazzo 6-5, 6-4.
With the match tied a three, Higley took on Anderson and fell in a narrow match 6-3, 3-6, 2-6.
The Vikings finish out their season 7-12 overall and 3-3 in the SAA.
