Jake Chapman were both broken in their final games in what were close sets, losing 4-6 and 5-7, respectively.
The Berry men needed four singles wins to beat Oglethorpe, and they came close as
Jake Chapman at second singles pulled away 6-3, 6-2 and Leo at third singles clutched in a final set tiebreak 6-0, 7-6. Noah at first battled in a third set to come out on top 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. The tables would turn as
Aiden Benoualid at fourth singles lost 5-7, 3-6 and
Jace Goode at fifth singles lost 3-6, 0-6. The meet came down to Bohdan at sixth singles, who had opportunities at 4-1 in the second set and 3-2 in the third. However, his opponent was resilient and battled on, sealing the match 2-6, 7-5, 6-3 and delivering Berry their first conference loss.
