MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry Baseball's season has come to a quick end with their second loss to the Tigers of Sewanee in today's matchups at 9-5.
Sewanee was the first team on the board in the first inning, but this time instead of letting it go unanswered like yesterday, Berry stepped up and responded.
Riley Uhls double brought in two and took the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
However, that lead did not last very long as the Tigers posted runs in the second, third, and four in the fourth to capture a big lead.
Despite Uhls going 4-4 on the day with 4 RBIs, the Vikings could not climb their way back in before the ninth inning.
Unfortunately, this brings the Vikings season to a close finishing 28-14 overall and 14-7 in the SAA.
