MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Vikings Baseball has earned the right to host the first round of the Southern Athletic Association Championship against Sewanee.

After clinching the second seed with the sweep of Sewanee last weekend, the Tigers are heading back to Mount Berry for another series for the opening round of the SAA Championships.

This time the series is a double-elimination process.

Berry will take on the Tigers at 4:00 PM ET on Friday for game one and the second game will follow on Saturday at 1:00 PM ET.

As mentioned, the Vikings swept the Tigers in the last meetup with on being a high-scoring 16-10 win. This year Berry wrapped up 28-12 overall and 14-7 in SAA play.

The team's consistency earned them the right to host on their home field. The winner of this series will take on Birmingham-Southern or Rhodes the following week.
