Hitting the road for the first time in nearly a month, the Berry men team were in high spirits leading into their match versus Birmingham-Southern. Diego Lopez / Noah Koch at first doubles played one of their best matches to date despite a large, rambunctious crowd that showed up for Birmingham-Southern's senior day, winning 8-4 and hoping to build the team's momentum. Jace Good / Aiden Benoualid at third doubles almost delivered, having been up a break the entire match. However, they were broken in their last service game and succumbed 7-8 (2-7) in the final tiebreak. With the match scores even, it came down to Drayton Matus / Bohdan Higley at second doubles, who were faced with a pair of very tough players and lost 3-8.

Trailing 1-2, the men were intent on rebounding as Carsten Balao at fifth singles and Aiden Benoualid at sixth singles swept away their competition, winning 6-2, 6-3 and 6-0, 6-3, respectively. However, the remaining Berry men would not have the same results as Diego Lopez battled a back injury in a 4-6, 1-6 defeat. Noah Koch faced a very aggressive and consistent opponent, and despite finding a way back into the match in the second set through his own great plays, lost 1-6, 6-7 ( 7-9). Jace Goode played one of his best sets of tennis at fourth singles but it was still not enough, losing 4-6, 6-0, 3-6. Drayton Matus at third singles was then tasked with playing a third set, 10-point tiebreak in a match that had been closely contested, but ultimately lost 7-6 (7-3), 3-6, 0-1 (5-10).

Despite a narrow 3-6 match loss to Birmingham-Southern, the men will look to finish strong tomorrow in their last conference match versus Millsaps College. This win will also ensure the men's entry into next week's season-ending conference championship.
