MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Vikings fell in their rescheduled non-conference contest against the Panthers of LaGrange College, 10-7.
After receiving votes in the latest ABCA Poll, the Vikings struggled at home after a big first inning from LaGrange.
The Panthers posted a five inning first to take the early lead and shut down Berry, the runs included a three-run homer.
Another solo homerun in the third from the Panthers as they increased the lead to six.
Berry sprung to life in the bottom of the fourth inning to begin their comeback and tie the game with six runs.Â

Andrew Pendleton's, Berry's home momentum came back!
Now tied at six,
Ben Coody came to the mound in the fifth and was relieved by
Cole Porter before the Vikings headed back to the plate.
It was
Andrew Pendleton's first home run of the year that gave Berry the 7-6 advantage that they held until the top of the eighth inning when LaGrange bombed a two run homer to left field and followed with a two run double in the ninth to secure the win.
Berry is scheduled to be back in action this weekend for Senior day and another SAA series against Sewanee.
