CLEARWATER, Fla. - Berry Women's Lacrosse made another running clock happen with an eleven-point victory over Clark University, 18-7.
Haley Larsen set the tone for the game with two draw controls and two goals early on, the first one happening in the first eleven seconds of the game on the way to their eleven point victory.
Scoring came in spurts of three for the Vikings with
Dani Taraska taking the third one before Clark took two goals of their own to shut down the run (3-2).
Larsen struck up the scoring again with
AnnaKate Estock and
Molley Cross chiming in to take the 6-3 win at the end of the first quarter.
Berry shared the ball well with 11 assists on the game and pushed a running clock late in the fourth with the tenth goal scored by
Isabel Pregont, who sunk the last goal as well.
The Vikings were consistent in the second half with nine goals compared to Clark's four.
Maddie Mashburn began to chime in on the scoring and ended with three goals on four shots.
As a team, Berry forced many turnovers and Taraska led with a high five to give her team more possessions and opportunities to score.
Berry will wrap up their spring break trip tomorrow against Husson at 10:00 AM ET in Clearwater, Florida.
