LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Berry College ladies arrived at Covenant College well prepared to compete after yesterday's warmup versus Snead State Community College, with all three doubles teams prevailing against their rivals and defeated them, 8-1.

Saris Mejia and Lacey Craig had an exceptional showing at second doubles by winning 8-3, and Juliana Mascagni and Lauren Masteller at first doubles were able to climb back from a break down to seal the match 8-7, scoring 7-5 in the tiebreaker.

At third singles, Olivia Walton found herself in a battle against her opponent, but was unfortunately unable to weather the storm and lost 6-4, 7-5 in a very close match. Lauren Masteller, Lacey Craig, Saris Mejia, Momo Manning, and Angelle Thornton prevailed in their matches at first, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles respectively. Momo Manning was able to endure a roller coaster of a match, winning 6-0, 3-6, then 10-3 in the final tiebreak as the other ladies cruised through their wins.

The ladies are continuing to build momentum and look to extend their win-streak heading into next Friday's away match versus Oglethorpe University.
