MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry Women's Track and Field has revealed their Indoor and Outdoor Schedules for the 2024-2025 campaign.
The Vikings come into the season with championship aspirations after their second place finishes last season in the Indoor and Outdoor Southern Athletic Association Championships. Berry will be led by 11 all-conference level competitors in Anna Rose, Macy Murdock, Onoyeme Egure, Madeline Hubbert, Anna Rose, Anna Ayers, Avery Jones, Emilee Easley, Malysha Winston, Ella Pine, and Sadie Philips.
The Indoor season begins in Birmingham, Alabama, with the Birmingham Indoor on December 6th. After the Christmas break, the Indoor season kicks into full gear as the team will take part in the Samford Multi and Open on January 17-18 in Birmingham, Alabama. The Vikings then will make the trek to Danville, Kentucky for the Centre Indoor Showcase on January 25th.
In February, Women's Track and Field takes on the final portion of regular season competition as the Vikings head to Sewanee, Tennessee, on the first day of February to compete in the Sewanee Tiger Indoor Open. The following weekend, the team returns to Birmingham, Alabama, to take part in the UAB Vulcan Invite from February 7-8. Women's Track and Field will also compete in the Samford Open 2 in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 15th.
Following that, the team will compete in the SAA Indoor Championships from February 28th-March 1st in Danville, Kentucky. The Indoor Season then concludes with the NCAA Indoor Championships in Rochester, New York, on March 14th and 15th.
The Women's Track and Field Outdoor Season begins at Mount Berry as the team will host the Victor Ice Breaker Duals on March 8th. The Vikings then roll down to Atlanta, Georgia, as they will compete at the Emory Spring Break Classic from March 21st-March 22nd, the Emory Thrill in the Hills and Multi from March 27th-March 29th, and the Emory Twilight on April 4th.The team then will travel to Carrollton, Georgia, to compete at the University of West Georgia on April 4th and 5th.
The team will then come back to Mount Berry to host the Berry Field Day Invitational and Multi's from April 10-12. The Vikings then head to Sewanee to compete in the Mountain Laurel Open on April 19th. Berry then looks to take home an SAA Conference Championship on April 25th and 26th.
Following the conference championships, the team will compete in the Emory Twilight Qualifier in Atlanta on May 7th before heading to Rock Island, Illinois, to compete in the Augustana Twighlight Last Chance from May 14-15.
The Vikings will conclude their season with the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Genava, Ohio, from May 22-May 24.
