Berry Football Returns to D3football Top 25

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Vikings have made their way back into the D3football.come Top 25 Poll for Week 6, at No. 25.

Berry started out the season ranked, but after dropping their first home contest to now No.13 DePauw, the Vikings took a turn and fell out of the rankings, until now at Week 6.

The Vikings had to work hard to find the bearings again in the poll, since falling to DePauw, Berry defeated Randolph-Macon (a team receiving votes in the poll), Southwestern and Hendrix College.

Leading the way on the field behind the reigns of Coach Tony Kunczewski is Brandon Cade, the preseason All-American has a gain of 485 rushing yards so far this season and averages close to 100-yards per game.

Starting quarterback Christian Lewis has completed 58 passes with a long of 59 for 7 touchdowns.

Grady Bryant leads the team with 23 solo tackles and 9 assists.

Through five games, Cade has broken the all-time touchdown record and the Berry defense had a monumental game against the Warriors as they held them to -21 rushing yards, a new record.

Berry will look to continue to play solid and climb the rankings with their next SAA game this weekend against Sewanee.
