The Berry Vikings Men's Soccer team delivered a spectacular 2-0 victory over Centenary College (Louisiana) Sunday in Birmingham.
The Berry Vikings came out strong in the first half, with
Nathan Carlson striking the day's first goal, assisted by
Charlie Stokes. The Vikings quickly tacked on an insurance goal from
Lucas Stevenson, assisted by
Brock Shoultz. Both teams held their ground for the next 20 minutes as the Vikings led going into halftime. The game played back and forth in the second half as both teams held each other scoreless in the final minutes of regulation.
The Vikings will play host to the Huntingdon College Hawks for a midweek contest Wednesday at Bob Pearson Field.
