Box Score Isaac Vardy scored the only goal for Berry in the 26th minute as the men's soccer team fell short, losing 4-1 on the road at Covenant College Wednesday evening.
With Covenant in the lead by one at the half, Vardy attempted to bring the score up for the Vikings by adding a shot on the high center but was saved by the Scots' goalie. Berry's defender kept pushing with another shot. This time, Covenant's goalie was not able to keep up, resulting in Berry's first goal of the match, and was assisted by midfielder Nate Dulin.

The Vikings will be back on the road on Saturday as they travel to Birmingham, Ala. To face LeTourneau University at 6 p.m.
