Berry's women's tennis team saw its season come to an end in the semifinal round of the 2023 SAA Championships following a 5-0 loss to No. 12 Sewanee in Chattanooga, Tenn., Saturday morning.
The Vikings (7-7) struggled to get momentum going against the No. 12 team in the country.
Lacey Craig and Sakura Mannaing gave Berry its best chance at a doubles win, falling 8-3, at the No. 2 spot.
Needing just two singles wins to clinch, Sewanee would get wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to get the win.
The Vikings close the season with a .500 record. Julia Mascagni and
Lauren Masteller end the regular season as the No. 13 ranked doubles pair in the Atlantic South Region.
