Berry's women's tennis team fought hard in Sewanee, Tenn., but ultimately fell to No. 10 University of the South 9-0 in Southern Athletic Association action.

The Vikings top doubles team of Juliana Mascagni and Lauren Masteller were pitted against the reigning ITA Doubles National Champions in Brooke Dispriet and Katherine Petty. The match was close throughout before going to a tiebreak, which saw the Sewanee team pull out a 7-2 victory in the tiebreak to take an 8-7 win in the match.

The Vikings will be back in action Sunday morning at Centre in Danville, Ky.
