MOUNT BERRY, Ga.— Zachary Hardee hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th to bring Berry to a 4-3 victory against Southern Athletic Association foe Hendrix, at William R. Bowdoin Field, Friday afternoon.

In the bottom of the 11th, Levi Cloud singled to third to put the winning run on first. Joey Garcia followed as he singled down the right field line to put the winning run in scoring position. Hardee then hit a chopper to first, outrunning the Warriors to the bag to bring home Cloud with the winning run.

The Warriors broke open the scoring in the top of the fifth, bringing two across the plate and making the score 2-0.

The Vikings (14-18, 8-8 SAA) responded in the bottom of the fifth, scoring three runs off of three hits and two errors. Wesley Maxey started the three run inning with a single up the middle. After a throwing error, Maxey scored the first run of the inning. Nick Brunswick and Cloud recorded singles in the inning. Lang and John Poist both had RBI groundouts to score Cloud and Garcia, giving Berry a 3-2 lead after five.
