MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Chase Ellis has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches D-III All-District First Team, representing District 6. The announcement was made by the NABC Tuesday afternoon.

Ellis was the Southern Athletic Association Player of the Year for 2022-23. Leading Berry to a 25-3 record and the SAA Regular Season Championship, Ellis was a four-time SAA Player of the Week honoree during the campaign.

The junior from Douglasville led Berry in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.7 poings and 7.0 rebounds per contest. Ellis averaged 29.6 minutes per game and played in all 28 games for the Vikings, starting 27.

Ellis would also be named to the All-Region Second Team by D3Hoops.com.
