MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Vikings Volleyball defeats Hendrix College in the SAA Semifinals to row into the Championship game.

A 4-2 run sparked energy in the first set for the Vikings in the SAA semifinal. With the season on the line, Berry refused to let the Warriors get within reach of set one. With 14 set kills, the team led the entire match and
Jazzy Innis fired one over to end set one at 25-19.
In the second set it was the Vikings playing from behind as Hendrix jumped out early. Down 9-3, the Vikings woke up after a Hendrix error with a 8-0 run to take the lead at 10-9. The Vikings shortly reclaimed their lead with two Viking errors. Another big 5-0 run from Berry reclaimed the second set in their favor at 19-14 with kills from
Lura Underwood and
Olivia Mallow. The Vikings held off the Warriors to claim set two in route to a 3-0 sweep. (25-22)
The first point of the third set marked a career milestone for
Olivia Mallow as she tabbed her 300th career block. Her team backed her up by claiming the indefinite lead at 6-4 after the SAA Offensive Player of the Year,
Bella Boston smoked one over to Rhodes. With a 4-0 run at the 20th point, the Vikings could see the SAA Championship game in their near future and after back to back kills from Mallow and
Lindsey MacDiarmid, Berry punched their ticket to the Championship game.
The Vikings will take on Sewanee at 1:00 PM ET in The Cage Center tomorrow for the SAA Championship.
