The Berry Vikings women's Soccer team fought hard but unfortunately fell 1-0 to the Rhodes Lynx Sunday.
The Vikings and the Lynx played back and forth in the first half, with neither team being able to score. The Vikings battled hard with the Lynx as the final minutes ticked off the clock, sending the game into halftime tied at 0-0. The Vikings came out storming the field, but the Lynx would sneak in one goal in the 52nd minute of the contest to take a one-point lead. The Vikings kept pace; however, the Lynx stood their ground to end the game with the win.Â
The Vikings will hit the road to take on the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels on Saturday.Â
