In a wild, back-and-forth contest, the Berry Vikings Women's Soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat to the Hendrix Warriors Friday.
The Vikings came out strong; however, the Warriors would draw blood first to take the lead. The Vikings continued pace, but the Warriors would add an insurance goal in the 23rd minute of regulation to head into halftime, leading 2-0. The Vikings showed bursts of light in the second half. Still, they saw the game slip away as the Warriors would add one more insurance goal in the final minutes of regulation.
The Vikings will travel to Memphis, TN, to take on the Rhodes College Lynx on Sunday.
