Berry's women's tennis team picked up a Southern Athletic Association sweep against the Hendrix College, 9-0, at the Rome Tennis Center Sunday morning.
Dominant would be the word to describe the whole match, as the all three lines of the doubles competition held their opponent to three or less points. Line two, consisting of
Juliana Mascagni and
Lacey Craig posted the best doubles score with a 8-2 win
The Vikings continued their dominant performance with big wins throughout the singles competition.
Kathryn Barker had a close opening set, 7-5, in line two, but posted a confident win in the second set by score of 6-0.
Emma Kruger completely shut out her opponent in line five of the match.
The Vikings will travel to Birmingham-Southern College to continue their SAA schedule. The first match is set to begin at Saturday at 11:00 a.m. EST.
