Berry Perfect At Volleyball Invitational

Box Score         For the second straight day, the No. 8-ranked Berry volleyball team collected a three-set sweep to close out its showing at the Berry Invitational on Saturday when the Vikings handed the Mississippi University for Women Owls a 3-0 setback.
The win improves head coach Caitlyn Moriarty's squad to 2-0 for the young season and comes on the heels of a 3-0 victory Friday night over Maryville
Against the Owls, the Vikes shook off an early deficit in the first set to charge back for a 25-17 decision, controlled the second set via a 25-7 outcome and sealed the deal with a 25-17 win.
Unofficially, Molly Bergin headed up the attack for Berry with 13 kills, while Emily Rapach added 18 assists.
Berry hits the road this week for a four-game series in Lexington, Va., facing Marietta College and Bridgewater College on Friday, and faces Southern Virginia and Washington & Lee on Saturday.
