Box Score Berry saw an early lead evaporate when host Emory tallied three unanswered goals to hand the Vikings a 3-1 defeat Wednesday night in Atlanta.

Lyndsey Francingues gave the Vikings their first goal of the season when she found the back of the net lofting a shot from 22 yards out at the 21:24 mark.
But eight seconds later, Emory responded with a tying goal, then added two more goals in the first half to close out the scoring.
For the game, Berry was outshot 24-7 by Emory, which had an 11-2 edge in shots on goal.

The Vikings return to the road Saturday heading to Demorest, Ga., to face Piedmont in a 2 p.m. clash.
