The No. 7-ranked Berry volleyball team continued its perfect start to the season when the Vikings swept past visiting Millsaps 3-0 on Saturday at the Cage Center.
The win gives the Vikings a 7-0 overall record and a 2-0 slate in the Southern Athletic Association heading into another conference showdown Sunday at noon at the Cage against Birmingham Southern.
Against Millsaps, the Vikings took 25-16 and 25-14 decisions in the opening two sets, then overcame a slow start in the final set before taking command to seal the victory via a 25-16 outcome.
Emily Rapach led the Vikings with 25 assists along with five kills,
Peyton Breissinger had seven kills,
Jordan Skief tallied three blocks and
Laura Beier record 10 digs.
