Rome, Ga. – The men's soccer team finished in a tie on Saturday to improve to 3-0-1 in SAA play and 5-0-1 overall. They currently sit in first place in the SAA standings.
A tough battle on both sides throughout the entire game, the game remained scoreless at halftime. The first goal of the game came from Oglethorpe's Fernando Ogle Guevara just forty-four seconds into the second period.
The game would remain 1-0 in Oglethorpe's favor until the final ten seconds when
Aidan Hackett would connect with a beautiful goal to tie the game force, eventually two, overtime periods.
Nothing went for either team in overtime, so the game ended 1-1.
