Danville, Ky. – The No. 7 Berry College volleyball team improved to 8-0 after two straight set victories at Centre on Saturday.
Berry hit .259 in match one, trailing the Colonels just one time in the start of the third set. The Vikings defeated the Colonels 25-17, 25-23 and 25-10 to claim match one in straight sets.
Offensively,
Molly Bergin led the way with 16 kills and
Emily Rapach tallied an incredible 25 assists.
Laura Beier had another strong outing on defense with 16 digs.
The Vikings won match two in similar fashion, sweeping the Colonels in three straight sets with scores of 25-20, 24-20 and 25-20. As a team, Berry hit .231 to Centre's .011.
Rapach recorded 21 assists with
Jazzy Innis leading in blocks with 13. Beier added 17 digs and
Olivia Mallow had four blocks.
